A Cake Walk

I wish this video was a little bit closer, but you get the idea. Basically, we went to family fun night at Gabe's elementary school this weekend. The whole time, we were encouraging Caleb to get down and walk around on his own, but he just wasn't feeling it. We were approaching nap time, so he was a bit clingy. Just as we were about to leave, we stopped by the music room to get his coat and hat. They had the cake walk going on in Gabe's room, so we stopped to watch the kids playing. I guess that's all that Caleb needed, because he wiggled his way down from my hip and just walked into the middle of the circle and plopped down. And he just sat there, watching. He is definitely not his mother's son, because I would have never done that, nor would I do that to this day. Talk about being the center of attention. You can kind of see him rockin' out to the music if you look close enough. After about 2 rounds of the cake walk, he got up and walked over to us like "okay, I'm done now. We can go." He never ceases to make me laugh, that's for sure.

P.S. They're playing 867-5309 (The Jenny Song) in the background. How's that for coincidence?

Okay, I don't think love is a strong enough word for that situation! And of course it would be a Jenny with a Y!

Sam would have been running in circles!
